MESH is a kit of app-enabled blocks that makes it easy to program wireless electronics and build your own gadgets. Each MESH block has built-in functions to add sensors, internet connectivity, web services, and other devices to your project in an instant. How did you come up with the idea for this product?
Our co-founder, Takehiro, was inspired to create MESH while hacking an alarm clock. “If only there was an easy way to make this gadget and everything in my home a little smarter,” he thought. This is the moment MESH was born.
What makes your product special?
MESH is one of the simplest ways to use the Internet of Things in your everyday life. Instead of buying ten smart gadgets, you can design and build your own electronic gadgets with MESH blocks. Anyone can program electronic projects in our visual coding app which replaces soldering and programming. With just a tap, you can integrate MESH blocks with hundreds of gadgets and apps via Bluetooth (BLE) and IFTTT.
What has been the best part of your startup experience?
We love to see people’s wildest smart gadget ideas come to life with MESH. These ideas motivate and inspire us to keep finding new ways to make it easier for everyone to create electronics projects that are smart and personalized.
