Description
Taito’s Vewlix was introduced in 2007 as a ground breaking arcade machine to embody the new HD generation of games. Since then the Vewlix grew to be the standard in HD gaming in Japanese arcades.
The Vewlix made the huge leap from CRT to LCD with a 32inch LCD screen. It also introduced widescreen gaming to arcades which until then had to settle with 4:3 ratio CRT’s. Its digital connection (DVI) was a revelation and resulted in noiseless signal to the screen, giving a superior picture quality.
